What's In My Makeup Bag - Oti Mabuse

Oti Mabuse has stolen our hearts since she joined Strictly Come Dancing five years ago, becoming the first brownbeauty professional dancer. She captured the trophy last year with Kevin Fletcher. When she is not strutting her stuff on Strictly, Oti is on our screens as a judge on The Greatest Dancer. She took time out to show us the products in her makeup bag.

Describe the items in your makeup bag.

Box Primer, I moisturise my face before I apply makeup and use primer to base and protect my face and give it a smooth layer. Revlon Foundation, to base my face and even different skin tones. MAC Prime and Prep Concealer, I use the concealer the most in different brown tones because I love contouring, I'm very big on it. I feel it's very important in shaping the face. Chanel Eyeliner, just to make the eyes pop. if I'm sweating it doesn't run down my face and it lasts a very long time. Zambuck just to protect my lips even when they are chapped or dry or before applying lipstick.

MAC Lipstick in different colours; I don't use them unless I have to switch from a day look to a night look. I have shades in red, purple, brown and fuxor. MAC Eyeshadow; I have two colours that I like in particular usually dark brown and shimmer gold, the gold I use sometimes as a highlighter. MAC Mascara for my lashes just to get them in order because my lashes are a combination of straight and curly. MAC Powder just to finish of the whole look and to reduce the shine.

Which is your favourite item in your makeup bag?

I love the foundation and eyeliner; on days where I apply normal day to day makeup they are quick to apply and easy and quick to wash off.

Where did you get your makeup bag?

I've had my bag for a few months I get them From TK Maxx, they're super affordable bags and good quality. I like to have different makeup bags. I keep a separate bag for all my makeup brushes, my skincare items and another one for all the dance competitions and shows I have to do.
