What happened at our Festive Makeup Masterclass with Urban Decay

A few weeks ago we held a Makeup Masterclass with Urban Decay at their store in Westfield Shepherds Bush. The aim of the event was to show how their products work on Black and Asian skin tones and to celebrate the launch of their new foundation, Stay Naked which comes in 50 different shades.

Global Makeup Artist, Danielle Roberts hosted the event - she has over 10 years’ experience working with the brand and specialises in editorial, celebrity and bridal clients.

Danielle created two makeup looks; one which showed off the wonders of the Naked Honey Palette and the other using the Born to Run Palette. The first look was full on glam and inspired by the ultimate party season. Danielle created a gold eye with an electric blue eyeliner. The second look was much more natural with a pink eyeshadow and a nude lip. Danielle used the new Stay Naked Foundation and finished off with their iconic All Nighter Setting Spray.

The event ended with networking, shopping and each guest was matched and gifted a full sized Stay Naked Foundation. The event really gave us an insight into the good work Urban Decay has done over the years trying to cater for all skin tones. As well as shades they look at undertones and pigmentation.

We would like to thank Urban Decay for collaborating with us on this event and our lovely bloggers, Social Media Influencers and podcasters who took part.
