urbanveda Purifying Collection

urbanveda is based on ancient wisdom of Ayurveda which is a form of alternative medicine originating from Hindu tradition. It is an ancient health and wellbeing system based around a holistic knowledge of plants and their therapeutic properties. The ideology is that you adapt this practise to fit into a modern 21st century lifestyle. urbanveda's USP is that they have packaged their products to suit all your needs. They even have a mini questionnaire on their website for you to fill in to find out which range is the best fit. I tried the Purifying range which is for oily skin and sets out to get rid of impurities, prevent congestion, helps refine your pores and leave your skin hydrated. This collection contains cold pressed Neen and refreshing essential oils. The Purifying range consists of a Daily Facial Wash, Hydrating Toner, Day Cream, Night Cream and a Body Wash. The collection contains Wild Mint, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera, Eucalyptus, Aniseed and Neem Oil.

I sampled the Daily Facial Wash, Toner and Day Cream and was very pleased with the results. The Facial Wash felt very light but also hydrated my skin due to the creamy texture. The Toner as expected was very refreshing and cooling and the Day Cream glided onto my face smoothly leaving it soft and supple. The products smelt lovely too and has just enough scent to make an impact without being overpowering. urbanveda has now become one of my favourite skincare brands.

For such a reasonably priced range urbanveda really delivers a lot. Plus you get an amazingly well packaged set of products.
