Jacqueline Shepherd is a lifestyle presenter who has worked on radio and TV. She can be seen on What's Up, a youth pop culture show on Sky talking about the new trends in music, sport, film etc. She also does some narrating for Trace which is an urban sports TV channel. She tells us about the beauty product she cannot live without.

The beauty product I cannot live without is my Afrocenchix Seal,Natural Conditioning Hair Oil. It has a glorious citrusy smell and lives in my bedroom and is appropriately named as I use it to seal moisture into my hair. As an avid enthusiast of natural hair I had heard of Afrocenchix prior to using it and was sent some following an opportunity to interview the company’s co-founder.

I now use the Seal pretty much daily, using it when I flat twist or bantu knot my hair at the end of the evening. The oil comes in a glass bottle with a handy pump so just the right amount is administered and prevents spillage or waste. After roughly three months my initial bottle is nearly finished so I am about to repurchase.

What I love most about Seal is the citrusy aroma, I find a lot of afro hair products quite sickly sweet smelling so this is a welcome break. The citrus comes from grapefruit, lemon and orange essential oils and the other conditioning oils include olive, castor and coconut. It creates both a protective barrier and sheen for my hair; furthermore it doesn't sit heavily on top of my hair, it is weightless.
