The Murad Renewing Cleansing Oil is both a make up remover and a cleanser. A small amount of the cleansing oil is poured into damp hands and applied to a dry face. The pale gold oil does not have a floral or botanical fragrance - it is has a faint sweet almond oil aroma. This oil blend contains is mainly a blend of soyabean oil and glycerine, with jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil. Extracts from sunflower and pomegranate seeds, olive fruits and liquorice mean that your skin is left hydrated after use.
It removes make up, including eye make up with ease so works well as an evening cleanser. Cleansing oils encourage facial massage and Murad recommend 30 to 60 seconds with this product. In the morning, I applied as directed and rinsed it off in the shower. The oil turns into milk when in contact with water and it rinses off very easily. A flannel or muslin cloth can also be used to remove it.
The only problem with this cleanser is the packaging, the sturdy plastic is great for keeping oil contained, however it is a pain (literally) to get the product out of. The oil does not come with a pump - it has a dropper. This is fine when you first start using the product as there is plenty in the bottle and it comes out quickly but as you get through the product and you want to squeeze the tube to get the product out it becomes a problem.
