Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

Micellar Water really is a bit of a thing these days isn't it? Every skincare brand worth their salt has their own version. It was Bioderma that really created the trend for Micellar Water a few years ago when beauty bloggers used to rave about them. Some even used to stock up at French pharmacies when they headed across the continent.

For those of you who don't know Micellar Water is a 3 in 1 product that cleanses, removes make-up and soothes your skin. It is actually designed for sensitive skin but it works on all skin types.

Anyway Garnier released their own Micellar Water last year with different versions for different skin types. You have one for oily/combination skin, one for sensitive and another for dry/sensitive skin which is oil infused. Even though my skin is of the oily and combination persuasion I love the Oil Infused Cleansing Water. I tend to suffer from dry patches around my eyes so I find that when I used this to take off my makeup it restores the balance.

I used the product to take off my eye makeup and fount it to be really effective; not only does it cut down on time but it saves me from scrubbing the makeup off my eyes. Instead I just press my micellar soaked cotton wool ball on my eyelids and watch the makeup magically disappear. I tend to use for my lips to take off the remaining lipsticks . Please note that when you use any micellar water you must wash it off because it is like a form of detergent and you do not want to leave that on your face.

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is priced at £4.99.
