Clinique Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick

Stick foundations seem to be all the rage at present, Chubby in the Nude is Clinique’s offering. In line with their Chubby Stick Lip Colours this is designed to be portable, easy to apply with a super natural finish. It’s a creamy, moisturising, blendable, oil free, long-wearing formula, with sheer to moderate coverage.

There are 10 shades in total, with about three to four of those being brownbeauty friendly, I have the shade Gargantuan Golden (there are two darker shades after this one). I found that this foundation applied beautifully, it gave a lightweight barely-there finish. I think you would have to use a lot to get ‘moderate’ coverage, but you could definitely build it up to about a light/medium coverage.

Depending on your skin tone you could buy several shades to highlight and contour with, for a super natural everyday makeup look, It is also very beginner friendly. The foundation is housed in a compact, colour coded tube, that you twist up from the bottom, it's fragrance free, travel friendly, great for on the go touch ups, and has a satin/semi-matte skin like finish.

I consider this like a tinted moisturiser in stick form in the best possible way, it wore well on my combination skin, with the wintery weather. It’s so lightweight you do not feel like there is anything on your skin, and it blends in beautiful, the semi-matte finish gives it a very skin like look. This is great for every day, no make make-up looks, or something to swipe on quickly while you run errands. I have absolutely been loving this foundation.
